This policy explains what [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] collects when you use Survival Tracker.
What we collect
- Account info: name, email, hashed password (we never see your password).
- Household data you enter: items, quantities, locations, photos, notes, history.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never your card number.
- Technical: IP address for security/rate limiting, and a session cookie to keep you logged in.
How we use it
Only to run the Service: show your data to your household, send account emails (confirmation, password reset, invites, billing), prevent abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see your data
Only members of your household, subject to the section permissions your admins set. Platform administrators can see account metadata (household name, owner email, plan, counts) for support and billing, but not your inventory.
Service providers
[HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. GoDaddy], Stripe (payments), [EMAIL PROVIDER]. Barcode lookups send only the barcode number to Open Food Facts.
Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. When the owner deletes the household, all its data and photos are deleted immediately; backups roll off within [N] days.
Your rights
You can export (CSV/JSON) or delete your data at any time from Settings. [GDPR/CCPA SECTION IF APPLICABLE.]
